Bike Sheds: Not for Laundry Baskets

Big thanks to Housing Manager, Saheed, and FM Team Leader, Mario, who rolled up their sleaves and put on their game faces to clear out this enormous pile of things that are not bikes, including what looks like a laundry basket, from the bike sheds on Mostyn Road. 

Area Manager, Alexandra Agudelo, fills us in: Residents bought to our attention that some people were storing stolen bicycles and other items in the sheds and that some residents were afraid to leave theirs in there. To reduce anti-social behaviour, the housing team joined forces with the FM team to clear out the three sheds at Mostyn Road. All Mostyn bock residents were given labels to place on their bikes, anything that did not have a label, they were advised would be removed. 20 bikes were removed yesterday and will be given to a charity who will refurbish them and give them out to people in need. 

A satisfying job, well done! Thank you to all involved. The team will now move onto other bike sheds across Myatts Field North.
